Engine Hyundai-Kia G4NB

The 1.8-liter Hyundai G4NB engine was produced at the Ulsan plant from 2010 to 2016 and was installed only on a few popular models, such as the Elantra and Cerato Forte. In 2013, the production of the motor was transferred to China, where it is put on the local Mistra model.
By design, this is a classic motor for that time with an aluminum cylinder block, an aluminum 16-valve cylinder head with hydraulic compensators, a timing chain drive, MPi distributed fuel injection and CVVT phase shifters on two camshafts. The unit also received a plastic intake manifold with a VIS geometry change system.
